BUSINESS/MARKETING INTERN

Job Scope:

  • The role is to grow MOD’s public profile, mostly with digital platforms but also with regular media/awards
  • Work directly with Joy Chan Seah, Business Director and the graphic design team to develop a strong digital presence for MOD
  • Promote MOD’s ethos and multi-disciplinary design approach across regional and international platforms
  • Immediate tasks would include:
    1. Creating a Facebook page for the firm (and thus enabling the existing Instagram account to be business-ready; and maintaining this
    2. Creating a wikipedia page; and maintaining this
    3. Pushing out our work across design platforms internationally
    4. Possibly also assisting with creating a monograph for the firm
    5. Submit MOD’s work for local, regional and global design awards
    6. Updating the MOD website / Instagram account when needed

Requirements:

  • We are looking for someone tech-savvy and social media-savvy
  • You should also be careful, with high attention to detail, and extremely rigorous
  • Confident, clear and articulate in spoken and written English; Mandarin a plus
  • High proficiency in Microsoft office, digital platforms
  • We prefer 4-6 months duration

INTERIOR DESIGNER (4-6 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH FLUENT MANDARIN)

Job Scope:

  • Work directly with Colin Seah, Founder-Director to develop memorable lifestyle experiences from highly conceptual design ideas
  • Approach design problems with a high level of rigor and analysis
  • Detailed Design of the entire space from materials, furniture to termination details
  • Present ideas persuasively to the Client and manage overall schedule
  • Apply design intentions to Multi-Disciplines, e.g. branding, graphics and fashion
  • Work with Technical Team to ensure detailed construction drawings are completed well
  • Manage the project to completion through efficient project management

Requirements:

  • Highly fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Strong conceptual thinkers; Highly creative
  • Rigorous with a high attention to detail
  • Bachelor degree in Interior Architecture / Interior Design; Architectural training a plus
  • High proficiency in Photoshop, Autocad, Excel
